Not As Bad As You Might Have Thought

 

That's a good motto for our new Big Hole Valley Weblog. And if we can rise to that standard, we'll probably do fine.

This is a new Blog that will provide occasional news and information for people who want to know what the devil is going on out there in the Montana's Big Hole Basin.  We used to have a newspaper in the early decades of the 1900s called the Big Hole Breeze. Here's a photo showing the Hawthorne printing presses to prove it. But the big business of cattle and hay changed over the decades and with it went much of the early population in this beautiful valley. More elbow room for the rest of us, but less news to read.
